I can troubleshoot hardware and software problems on both desktop computers and notebooks. I can replace failed desktop components including the hard drive, power supply, CPU, RAM, and motherboard. For Laptops I can replace or upgrade your Hard Drive or RAM. I don’t markup replacement parts and will only charge you for the actual cost of the part plus the labor to install it. Parts usually have a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty or longer.
Virus and Malware Removal
A Virus on your computer is one of the worst things that can happen. Malware will make your computing experience miserable if your PC becomes infected. I can remove the malware and get your PC back to a clean state. I will install a layered defense utilizing reputable Security Programs to help prevent a future infection of your computer. The best value for cleaning an infected PC is my Tune Up Special as I include Virus and Malware Removal as part of the Tune Up when I perform it in my home office. In some cases it may be necessary to reinstall the Operating System to remove the infection completely.
Computer Optimization and Cleanup – Including New Computer Setup
It’s a good idea to give your computer a good checkup and thorough cleaning which is why I offer my Tune Up Special. I can remove unused programs, optimize your Startup items, Defragment the hard disk, and remove Viruses and Spyware. I will clean your desktop computer and make sure it’s getting correct air flow to prevent excessive heat build-up. Having a clean computer is important because heat is the number one killer of computer parts due to excessive dust build up inside your computer.
Custom Photo Videos and DVD’s

Backup
Everyone knows they need to have a computer backup but yet many people don’t. Stop hoping nothing will go wrong causing you to lose all your critical files and sleep peacefully knowing you have a backup plan. I can setup a local backup drive for you and schedule automatic backups and I can also set up an online backup for you. The remote backup is extra peace of mind in case your home computer would be destroyed by fire, flood, or some other disaster or if your laptop were stolen.
Personal Computer Tutoring
There’s nothing wrong with getting a little personal help with technology and I will be happy to work one on one with you to make using your technology more fun and enjoyable for you. Do you have a digital camera but not really sure what to do with it? Would you like to have a Facebook page but are afraid it will overwhelm you? Want to email the kids and grand kids but don’t know how? These are all examples of things many us of take for granted yet intimidate others. For example, if I replace your power supply and three weeks later your computer won’t start because the new power supply has died I’ll replace if for the cost of a new power supply without a labor charge. Most parts used for repairs will come with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty so in most cases you won’t have to pay for a replacement part either.
